The mission of Talent Artistic
Juvenile Inc. is to foster cultural awareness, self-esteem and
development in our local disadvantaged communities by introducing highly
enriching and creative activities for all ages.
Vision:
Talent Artistic Juvenile
aims to be:
... a place of excellence where children can
achieve full potential in their academic, creative, personal, moral and
spiritual development
… a caring place where children and adults
feel they make a contribution and are valued as individuals
… a partnership between children, parents,
staff and the community as a whole.
Our organization began its
operations in 1992, since then we have organized more than 25 events
around the community. These events have allowed more than 50 arts
schools, and 600 children to make their artistic dream become a reality.
Our staff consists of the
Executive/Artistic Director, technical personnel who help with lighting
and other important logistical matters, and a team of 15 volunteers with
varied professional backgrounds.
Our board of directors is
very active in the audition and policy making process to make all our
events a success.
We have been fortunate to
have received numerous grants from Miami Dade Cultural Affairs
Department, and received commendations from Congresswomen, and city
officials.
